Harsh Binani - Smartworks Co-Founder

Harsh Binani is an Indian founder and entrepreneur. He is also the co-founder of Smartworks India's largest managed space provider. Harsh Binani started small but always believed in the possibility of achieving great things.

Harsh is an alumni of Northwestern University -Kellogg School of Management, Illinois with an MBA degree in business studies. He is an Economics graduate of Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.


Healso holds an CFP (Centre for Financial Planning) designation in investment management, risk management, and retirement planning.


Harsh Binani began working in the industry through opportunities that were presented to him to gain experience and knowledge for his larger plans. With over seven years' knowledge in managing and real estate consulting, he's previously worked with "Mckinsey", the top consulting firm in Chicago.


In his 5 years with Mckinsey and Mckinsey, he was involved in strategies and operational issues in insurance, infrastructure, and healthcare.


Additionally, he was Chief of Staff at Medanta Medicity, spearheading key strategic initiatives for the CEO.


Harsh Binani got exposure to modern workspaces while he was abroad, which helped make it clear to him about where he's going in his next career.


He took the decision joining Neetish Sarda, a man who was developing with enthusiasm his latest venture at the time: Smartworks.


Harsh Binani joined Smartworks in 2017 and brought in more enthusiasm, new ideas and exceptional people skills to Smartworks' table.


After the joining of Harsh Binani along with Neetish Sarda Smartworks had an explosive growth which paved the way towards more innovative methods to make the work spaces a more enjoyable experience.


Initially Smartworks was initially conceived as a co working space, but Harsh Binani as well as Neetish Sarda soon discovered that was an extremely crowded market that saw little or no innovation in terms of products and technology, or even the intended audience.


After narrowing down to the target market, the group that wanted provide services to Harsh Binani and decided to break into large companies which was a major challenge in itself.


Massive companies are already established in the traditional office spaces with limited services.
